This central, modern hotel overlooks the River Liffey and is beside Heuston Station. A 5-minute journey on the LUAS tram brings you to the city centre and lively Temple Bar. The Ashling Hotel has been extended and renovated, with spacious, 4-star-standard bedrooms and the new Chesterfields brasserie and carvery. The hotel is near to the Guinness Storehouse, Dublin Zoo and the Phoenix Park. The LUAS tram passes right by the door and the Airlink bus operates directly from Dublin Airport to Heuston Station.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

By Car: - From O'Connell Street, drive westward along the quays on the River Liffey. - At Victoria Quay in front of Heuston Rail Station, turn right across the River Liffey. - Once across the river, turn right and then immediately left. - At the 1st traffic lights, turn left. - The hotel and car park are on your right. Journey time is approximately 5 minutes. - Many major motorways and link roads are easily accessible from the hotel via Connyngham Road and M50 circular. Free parking is available. By Public Transport: Regular bus services run to and from the city centre. Bus stops are adjacent to hotel and located at Heuston Intercity Station. By Tram: From the Central Bus Station (BUSARAS), Connolly Rail Station, Abbey Street (O'Connell Street) or Jervis Street (shopping centre), take the Red Line Tram to Museum or Heuston Station. The hotel is located between these 2 stops. By Train: The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Heuston Intercity Railway Station, serving the South and West of Ireland. Additionally, there is a frequent 'Rail-link' public bus service and tram from Connolly Station to Heuston Station (bus numbers 90/91). By Plane: - There is a Express Bus Service, Airlink number 748, to Heuston Station, last stop. The fare will be EUR 5.80. The hotel is located just across the River Liffey from Heuston. Buses operate approximately every 20 to 30 minutes. - Alternatively, from Dublin Airport, take the 747 (approximately every 10 - 15 minutes) to the Central Bus Station and then transfer to the Red Line Tram. Disembark at Museum or Heuston. The fare for the Airlink Bus is EUR 5. From Dublin Airport By Car: - Join the M1 motorway for Dublin and take the 1st immediate exit onto the M50 for N2/N3/N4/N7. - Continue through toll bridge (EUR1.80) and take the next exit off the M50 immediately after the bridge. - Turn left onto the N4 for the city centre. - Continue for approximately 4 miles until you come to Heuston Rail Station on your left. The road curves left around the station, bringing you across the River Liffey. - Once across the bridge, turn right and then immediately left. - At the first traffic lights turn left. The hotel and hotel car park are on your right. Journey time is approximately 20 minutes.

Chesterfields brasserie is the new 180-seater restaurant and carvery offering great food, friendly service and an extensive wine list. Enjoy a full Irish breakfast from 06:45 to 10:30 Monday to Saturday, and from 07:00 to 10:30 on Sundays. A carvery lunch is served from 12:30 to 14:30 daily. An à la carte and table d’hôte dinner service is offered from 18:00 to 21:30 Monday to Saturday, and from 18:00 to 21:00 on Sundays.
