Opened in 2006, the hotel is situated behind the Four Courts and only a moment's walk from a LUAS light rail station. It boasts 92 bedrooms, each of which enjoys views across the city. Many feature wall to ceiling glass windows or balconies.
Stir Restaurant and Bar offers an extensive all day dining menu and shows all major sporting events on the big screen. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is offered throughout the public areas and meeting rooms.

The hotel’s doors open onto Smithfield Plaza, a vibrant and newly developed quarter of Dublin City Centre. Shopping, entertainment, sightseeing, eateries and business districts within the O’Connell St and Quays area are within an easy stroll from the hotel. Grafton Street, Temple Bar and Trinity College are also nearby, as are the Point Theatre/TheO2 and Croke Park Stadium.

From Dublin Airport
- At the airport roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the M1 (signposted M1 Dublin).
- Continue forward onto Swords Road/N1 (signposted M1 city centre) entering Dublin.
- At the traffic lights, continue onto Drumcondra Road Lower/N1 (signposted city centre).
- Continue forward onto Dorset Street Upper/R804.
- Continue onto Bolton Street. At the junction go right onto King Street North.
- Continue straight through the junction of King Street North and Church Street Upper.
- Pass Bow Street and Brown Street.
- Arrive at Smithfield Plaza and Hotel is on your left-hand side.
From Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port:
- Start from Dun Laoghaire (Dublin R1190).
- Continue onto the R119.
- At the roundabout take the 1st exit.
- Continue forward onto Harbour Road/N31.
- Turn right onto Crofton Road (signposted ‘all routes’)/ N31.
- Bear left onto Newtown Avenue / N31.
- Turn right onto Temple Road / N31 (signposted the North, the West, the South, city centre) N31.
- Continue forward onto Rock Road/R118 (signposted the North, Dublin Port).
- Continue onto Merrion Road/R118 (signposted city centre (N1, N2, N3).
- At the outer orbital route junction 52, continue forward on Northumberland Road/R118 (signposted city centre).
- Turn right onto Tara Street/R802.
- Continue onto Butt Bridge (R802) to cross the River Liffey.
- Turn right onto Custom House Quay/R801.
- Turn right onto the R105.
- Continue forward onto Moss Street/R802
- Turn right onto Pearse Street/R118 .
- Turn right onto Tara Street/R802.
- Turn left onto Burgh Quay/ R105.
- At O' Connell Bridge continue forward onto Aston Quay/N4.
- Turn right onto O'Donovan Rossa Bridge. Continue forward onto Chancery Place.
- Arrive at Smithfield Plaza and Hotel is on your left-hand side.
From Heuston Station, Dublin
- Turn left onto Frank Sherwin Bridge/N4.
- At the traffic signals turn right onto Wolfe Tone Quay/N4.
- Turn left onto Chancery Place.
- Arrive at Smithfield Plaza and Hotel on your left-hand side.
By Bus
From the airport:
Airlink (number 747) is an express bus that you can catch from outside Arrivals. It will take you to O'Connell Street (the main street in the city centre).
Aircoach (a big blue bus) is an airport bus that has a circular route and will drop you at the Gresham Hotel in O'Connell Street.
The 16a Bus (normal Dublin bus) will drop you in O'Connell Street. It is not recommended if you have luggage.
FOOD&BEVERAGE
Breakfast is available from 07:00 to 10:00 from Monday to Friday and from 08:00 to 11:00 on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
Lunch is served from 12:00 to 15:00 except weekends and Bank Holidays.
Dinner is served from 18:00 to 21:00 except Sundays and Bank Holidays.
